Summary of Activities
| Adopt-A-Highway | We pick-up trash on 2 ½ miles of Highway 84 twice a year |
| Breakfast With Santa | On a Saturday in early we December, we host a pancake breakfast with Santa. There are also free activities for children |
| Christmas Tree Lot | Our primary fundraiser is selling Fraser Fir Christmas trees. This funds the majority of our projects |
| Christmas Families | Every year, we provide dinner and presents for two area families as selected by the UC Christmas Bureau |
| Aubrey Moore Scholarships | Provides five $2,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in Union County high schools. |
| Essay Contest | Writing contest for high school students (Essays are due in mid-February) |
| Golf Tournament | We participate in the Optimist Golf Tournament which is normally held in September |
| Improved Students Party | 260 students from all UC elementary schools are selected as “Most Improved”. They get to go bowling and eat pizza at Fox’s Bowling Alley in May |
| Oratorical Contest | Speaking contest for middle school and high school students (Preliminary contest is late March or early April.) |
| Playground at Optimist Park | Built by the Optimist members, this large playground was built in 2005 |
| Take On Sports | Sports programs for the Exceptional Children in our area |
