• We Sponsor the Youth Service Team -JOI Optimist Team.
• We have an annual Awards Banquet to recognize youth in the community and their families & friends.
• We have an Annual Christmas breakfast for famlies.
• Annually we have an Essay Contest Club Program for the Youth
• Annually we have an Oratorical Contest Club Program for the Youth
• We annually Award four $2,000 college Scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors.
• We annually Award Grants to deserving organizations who support youth in the community.
• We maintain a optimist website and Facebook page to share with Optimists and future members about our Club.
• We work with other service clubs in the community to promote volunteerism.
