The Optimist Oratorical Contest gives youngsters a chance to speak to the world.
More than $160,000 in scholarships are awarded annually. Optimist International clubs have
been conducting Oratorical Contests since 1928. Many famous individuals have
participated, including actress Julia Roberts.
